I recently visited Tandoori Culture in Singapore, and it was a delightful experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, giving a modern yet traditional feel that complements the menu perfectly. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable. The highlight, of course, was the food. The tandoori dishes were cooked to perfection — flavorful, juicy, and authentically spiced. I particularly loved the chicken tikka and naan bread, which were fresh and delicious. The variety on the menu ensures that there’s something for everyone, from classic Indian curries to unique fusion options. Overall, Tandoori Culture offers a great combination of authentic Indian flavors, excellent service, and a cozy dining environment. Highly recommended for anyone craving traditional Indian cuisine in Singapore!Posted on Google Jessica ZTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The morality of this restaurant is questionable. I ordered salty lassi, and they served me sweet lassi with added salt (apparently the two use different yoghurt base). When I confront them they admitted they are running out of salty lassi hence they tried to fool me and hope I couldn’t find out. Btw the drink taste really bad how can you even think about producing such food to customer….Posted on Google Yogita KuntalTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. (Feb)My updated review/reply to the restaurant: I was not aware of your reply until now. I would like to clarify a few points with the Google Review Words Limits as below. As adults, we understand whether placing an unused chair beside our table would obstruct anyone. As mentioned, the restaurant was nearly empty. The supervisor simply said “no” and told us to put the bag on the floor, without further explanation. That felt unnecessarily rigid. Regarding the supervisor’s attitude, she did appear unfriendly. If you prefer not to comment on this, does that mean you agree with the way the situation was handled? Professionalism is not just about enforcing rules, but also about how those rules are communicated. As first-time customers unfamiliar with Indian cuisine, we trusted the staff and naturally began eating it. To suggest that we “fully enjoyed” feels unfair. Being charged for a dish served by mistake, without apology, was disappointing. Clearing unfinished dishes without asking also felt rushed. Your response seems more focused on defending your position than understanding the customer’s experience. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult for me to visit again or recommend your restaurant. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It was New Year’s Eve, so the restaurant wasn’t crowded.A friend wanted to eat here, so we agreed. At the very back of the restaurant there were about four to five tables, and only our table was dining there. We borrowed one chair from another empty table to place a bag. Unexpectedly, a female supervisor coldly told us that we were not allowed to do that. I said, “But no one is using it.” She still refused. I then asked if they had a box or place to store bags. She said no and told us to put it on the floor by the window. I couldn’t understand why they were being so strict. Aside from our table, the restaurant was almost empty. Judging from her unfriendly expression, my enjoyment of the meal had already begun to fade. Another female waitress who served our food looked quite young and inexperienced. When we asked her questions, she didn’t seem very confident in her answers. When the female supervisor spoke to her, her attitude was still unfriendly. Since we weren’t very familiar with Indian food names or ingredients, and it was our first time here, we began eating once the a few dishes arrived. The food itself actually tasted quite good. However, after eating some of one dish, we realized it seemed unfamiliar. The female supervisor then came over and said the dish had been served by mistake. There was no apology, nor did she explain whether it would be removed from the bill. When we were almost finished eating, another male waiter came to our table and tried to take away one of the dishes without any indication or asking us first. We had to awkwardly say, “We haven’t finished that yet.” When we paid the bill, we discovered that the wrongly served dish had been charged. My friends said, “Forget it, it’s New Year’s Eve—let’s just enjoy the meal.” Later, when friends asked me where I had dinner on New Year’s Eve, I said we went to this restaurant. The food was fine, but the service wasn’t very good. I then started to wonder—was it just us who felt that their service is disapponting? I checked the restaurant’s Google Reviews, and sure enough, some customers shared similar experiences about the unpleasant service. Compared to the food, the service attitude of the female supervisor was far worse. I remember a piece of drawing on the wall that said something like cooking the finest dishes to the highest standard. There were also some beautiful Indian-style artworks hanging inside the restaurant. But does the restaurant’s “highest standard” apply only to the food? Doesn’t a high-quality dining experience also include making customers feel welcomed, respected, and happy? The food here makes me want to come back, but the service makes me hesitate. Perhaps next time, I’ll check the reviews again to see whether anything has changed.Posted on Google Ramu PatloriTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
